Weight-loss Friendly Recipe

Are you tired of cooking the same meals? I feel you, girl, I get bored eating the same stuff all the time!

I put this together because I always struggle to get protein in, everyone does, it’s one of the hardest things to get enough of.

This recipe is packed with protein, which is beneficial to ANYONE, especially those on a weight-loss journey! 

Did you know that protein helps keep you feeling fuller for longer? Protein also helps you build muscle, fuels every cell in your body AND satiates you so that you don’t feel the need to keep eating when you’re full.

Ingredients: 

  • 4 zucchini 

  • Cinnamon powder 

  • Black pepper

  • Seven pepper seasoning (optional if you can find it)

  • Lemon juice to taste

  • Salt to taste 

  • Chicken or Turkey sausage 

  • 1.5 lbs Grilled chicken 

  • Low fat Parmesan cheese (optional)

Here’s the steps:

1. Chop zucchini into 1/2 circle slices.

2. Fill the crock pot 1/4 of the way with water & add in:

  • Zucchini sliced up

  • Cinnamon

  • Black Pepper

  • Seven Pepper Seasoning

  • Lemon

  • Salt

3. Set crockpot to high for 30 mins

4. Cut chicken sausage in thin circles, put it to the side. Next, chop up lemon herb chicken (i get mine delivered already cooked & seasoned from The Chicken Pound (click HERE + use code SAMMIE10 for $$ off your order) 

5. After 15 mins, add in chopped chicken sausage & lemon herb chicken & cook for 30 mins

6. Start making pasta on the side (takes about 7 mins so check the veggies first!)

7. Add the pasta, mix it all together. (optional: add low fat parmesan cheese!)

8. ENJOY!
